Intake Specialist
Job Summary
Excello is seeking experienced Intake Specialist to join our client’s team at our Invercasa office. In this role, you will handle incoming calls from potential clients, gather essential information, and determine if they meet the necessary criteria to move forward with legal or insurance support.
You will play a key role in ensuring that every caller is properly screened from the very first interaction, helping streamline the process for both clients and partner firms.
Key Responsibilities
Answer inbound calls from potential clients and assess their eligibility.
Ask and verify key pre-qualification questions (legal representation, insurance status, accident details, injury/treatment, etc.).
Accurately document client responses and eligibility in internal systems.
Handle sensitive information with empathy and professionalism.
Ensure only qualified leads are escalated to the appropriate legal or insurance partners.
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex cases or escalate exceptions.
Maintain productivity and quality standards while managing high call volumes.
Requirements
Previous experience in call center inbound campaigns is a must.
Experience in legal intake, insurance, Medicare, or sales/qualification campaigns is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills – clear, empathetic, and professional.
Strong active listening and questioning skills.
Experience handling sensitive conversations with professionalism.
Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong computer literacy – CRM systems, Microsoft Office, or similar platforms.
