Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Representative to join our team and work for one of Excello's prestigious clients. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in generating and nurturing opportunities to expand our client’s business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity Management: Attend to opportunities generated by any source by tracking, identifying, and adding qualified prospects to the sales pipeline.
  • Follow-Up: Maintain regular follow-up with all agents and agencies to achieve closing targets.
  • New Business Generation: Generate and attend new opportunities across different lines of business.
  • Networking: Search for and participate in events that facilitate networking and create new opportunities, including traveling to meet new prospects as needed.
  • Event Support: Assist in the creation and production of prospecting events to generate new business opportunities.
  • Script Improvement: Support the improvement of scripts and supporting documents for prospecting activities.
  • Collaboration: Interact with business line leaders and other teams to align recruitment efforts for new opportunities and develop mutually beneficial proposals.
  • Strategic Planning: Create and develop a strategy for an organized approach to engaging with insurance agencies in Florida and other states.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders effectively.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather useful information from customer and competitor data to inform strategy.
  • Partnership Development: Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business.
  • Market Research: Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Data Analysis: Perform regular data analysis to measure service performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Bilingual Communication: Communicate fluently in advanced conversational English and Spanish.
  • Independent Work: Work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Medicare experience preferred.
